Batch #1

Ooooohhhh,  things are getting exciting around here!   
  For mothersday day of '23 ,  Matt bought me 3 dozen hatching eggs from a polich chicken farm,    I had so much fun hatching these babies and had pretty good success.   Sadly.  Something got into our coop and I lost too many to count :(    I now only have 2 roosters and 3 laying hens left.   So I am currently working on building my flock back up by slowing hatching whatever eggs they lay in a week.    I currently have 3 incubators full!    This weekend my first batch is hatching and they are so cute.   I am beyond delighted with this experience!

First win of the season!

 About a month ago,  Ben made the freshman team at his new high-school,   he LOVES basketball and was so excited to join.     So far the season has been rough with losses every game,   till last night!   They finally had a win!!        Hopefully this gives the boys a boost of confidence and turns their year around!     Go Jets!!    And pa got a pretty awesome photo of Bens layup during the game!    As my friend Emily would say "it's totally rad!"

 It's an exciting new time for our family!   Thankfully, he gets to zoom in all his classes except the last one,   making it fit into our schedule easily and not disrupt the rest of our lives horribly!          Man its bitter sweet watching your kids grow up!!

First gymnastics class ever!

 Brooklynn has been asking for YEARS to take gymnastics classes,   she loves doing flips,  cartwheels,  backbends and is actually really good at it all.  On her own she has amazing talent and friends and strangers alike are always shocked when they find out that she is self taught so far and has had zero classes.    She works Dailey on all the things gymnastics and never seems to tire of it.   *She might even be the reason that cartwheels are no longer allowed at school (hallways, classrooms, gym)  lolol   So, This years the only thing she asked for christmas was ....you guessed it,   gymnastics lessons.    And she was serious too.  She told everyone she talked to "for Christmas I want gymnastics!!!"   So grandparents and parents together made it happen.        We found her private classes and her first lesson was last night.   I've never seen her so exited and nervous...
