We dropped brother off at basketball camp and then went for a bike ride around the local pond. Guaranteed we got off easy next to how hard Ben will be worked!
Ben came home with an assignment from school to replicate any item he chooses, and either make a duplicate 10 times bigger or 10 times smaller than the original item. It took us a week to figure out what to make. We had so many ideas, but either Ben wasn't impressed with them, or they were really difficult to re-create. Then one day Ben said "Toilet paper!" and then bust out laughing. At first, I was like "Ben, you are NOT taking in toilet paper!" But he got such a huge kick out of the idea that we said "alright! have at it!" He happily worked on his project, and I must admit, he did a good job. He steadily laughs every time he looks at it, and most of his school agrees that his was indeed the funniest 3D project. My silly boy and his toilet paper. You can see by his face how much humor he got out of it! lol ...
But whos keeping track. A little girl enjoyed a wonderful 4th birthday, full of smiles, and most of the things she requested. As I shared in the post before, She wanted chicken nuggets, mac n' cheese, and chocolate cake! We made the chocolate cake 100% from scratch, I so badly wanted to get a quick easy box mix, But I thought making one homemade would be so much more special for her, and of course much healthier. And we did a good job! It turned out delicious! A rich cream cheese frosting, and a cocao powder cake. she was so pleased with it, and really did help me with the process a lot! Of course, her job was licking the beaters with the frosting! After cake making and many other little things to make her day special, We headed to Bens Scho...
Sometimes she can be annoying... With her chewing stuff up, Sneaking bathroom breaks INSIDE the house, and trying to get food off the counters. But then nights like the story I'm about to share, makes it all worth it. Daisy does sleep all night. Its wonderful! She will only wake us occasionally to go pee outside but always comes right back in and falls alseep. We cannot complain a bit! She either sleeps at the foot of our beds or on the floor. On the RARE occasion she will wake us barking, But we have learned that every time she does this, there is either someone (a neighbor) outside talking or something in general off outside. she makes us aware and we've learned that when Daisy barks , we need/should go take a look. So when she started barking randomly in the middle of the night one night around 11, Matt jumped out of bed and immediately ran to check things out. Daisy was barkin...
