Our God is good.   He cares so much and listens to our hearts when we cry out to him!   Our Daisy ,  after MUCH care,  is finally back to health!    Her follow up vet appointment cleared her for going back to a normal diet!   Such relief to know she was looking so much better and her dying wasn't something we had to worry about!     It truly was a rough few days.    We really do love this dog.     So in celebration,   today she went in for a fresh cut and grooming!     So looks so cute and smell amazing!

Tummy bugs   To sudden around-the-clock care for your puppy dog.     It's been a long long week and NOT the spring break my kids envisioned.       A couple days ago our Daisy got really sick.    I'll spare you all the details,    but at one point,  she was going to die.      Legit.    No exaggeration.  She has required around-the-clock,  every hour care,  vet visits, and the thoughts of possibly having to put her down.  It has been a horrible 48 hours.   Syringe forcing liquids and supplements,   setting alarm clocks all night to administer nutrition, and cleaning up so much puke and rancid smelling bloody poop   We don't know what happened,   or why she got sick,   but it happened fast.  The Vet says she is exhibiting all symptoms of being poisoned or getting into something really really harmful.       As much as we rack o...

Go Daisy go!

Sometimes she can be annoying... With her chewing stuff up,  Sneaking bathroom breaks INSIDE the house,  and trying to get food off the counters. But then nights like the story I'm about to share,   makes it all worth it.  Daisy does sleep all night.   Its wonderful!  She will only wake us occasionally to go pee outside but always comes right back in and falls alseep.    We cannot complain a bit!   She either sleeps at the foot of our beds or on the floor. On the RARE occasion she will wake us barking,  But we have learned that every time she does this,  there is either someone (a neighbor) outside talking or something in general off outside.  she makes us aware and we've learned that when Daisy barks ,  we need/should go take a look.    So when she started barking randomly in the middle of the night one night around 11,  Matt jumped out of bed and immediately ran to check things out.   Daisy was barkin...

This puppy is loved so!

And she's completely attached to us!   She follows us everywhere and if I sit down.  There she is sure to be,  curled up at my feet.   She chases Brooklynn and will run the yard with her!   She's Bens best friend all night and they are inseparable.    He's soooo protective of her!         Last week she went to the vet,  She's a bit underweight and the Dr said she has hookworms but has her on some medication to clear that up.    Hopefully she porks up soon!  She was 6 pounds even,  so worms or not,  she's still gained some in our care.    More to come.  Lots more!

Introducing Daisy!

All 5 pounds of her cuteness!      Our family joined our family Sunday,  and has made our family complete (you know besides chickens, ducks, cows, and kittens,  lol ) and we are so in love.  The kids have adapted so well,  and shes fits right in.  She's a Labradoodle and so playful.   Her tail wags non stop.      She's also into everything!!!  As Ben says "she's so much work!   Like a baby!"    She's great at night too.... as long as she's in bed with Ben.  LOL.   Put her in a crate and she's barks,  whines, and cries so loud that folks three towns over could hear her.      But as long as she's right with Ben you won't hear peep out of her all night.    soooo she sleeps with Ben,  and he loves it.    Daisy curls right up to him and sleeps sound.
